Alex Connor is a scenic artist for theatre and opera, and is currently serving on the Scenic Art Staff for the third time for the Santa Fe Opera's 2018 Season.
Recently Alex was selected to participate in USITT's Young Technician's Forum in 2017, where he displayed his work at the national conference in Salt Lake City, UT.
Alex had been a student and scenic artist for Viterbo University since 2012, leading crews for productions including The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Little Women, and Hotel Casablanca. His scenic artistry and design has attracted the attention of Rosco, and was featured on their Spectrum Blog for his work on Mikado.
Since 2013, Alex assisted as a scenic artist under the resident scenic designer, Kit Mayer for Commonweal Theater in Lanesboro, MN. He has worked on productions such as Arcadia, Master Builder, and Memory of Water.
Alex was born in Rolling Meadows, IL, and has achieved his BFA at Viterbo University in La Crosse, WI.
